Job summary

MetroHealth in Cleveland Heights is seeking a dual-modality Radiology Tech (CT/XR) to join our Radiology Department. You will perform CT and X-ray imaging, participate in cross-training, and support patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT certification with CT credential or within one year, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. Expect teamwork with nurses, physicians, and therapists in a high-volume trauma center; excellent communication and calm under pressure

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.
• One-year related experience preferred; ARRT CT certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT/XR images in a variety of settings.
• IV starts and patient preparation for imaging.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment.
• Collaborate with CT/XR team and other care staff.
