Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC in Shirley, NY is hiring a Production Operator to set up and run machines to cut parts from non-metallic materials. You will operate two machines at once and handle material flow, quality checks, and shipping paperwork.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of related experience or a technical certificate, strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to read and understand English.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to cut parts from non-metallic materials.
• Use basic measuring tools (caliper, tape measure, ruler) and verify dimensions.
• Handle material and work orders from start to final quality control.
• Perform quality checks against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare product for next process or packing for shipping.
• Complete all paperwork for shipping and inventory; update work instructions as needed.
