U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a Dual Licensed Water/Wastewater Operator in Florida to operate and maintain treatment facilities, monitor equipment, and perform lab tests.

The role requires Class C FDEP Water License and C Waste Water License, plus a valid driver’s license and preferred route experience. Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain water treatment facilities at one or more plants, processing, and testing equipment.
• Monitor flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures and related controls.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and related tasks; conduct field laboratory tests for chemical dosages.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are consistently achieved and report issues to supervisor.

Dual Licensed (Water and Wastewater) Operator

The Water/Wastewater Operator operates and maintains water treatment Facilities at one or more plants, processing, and testing equipment in a water treatment facility to purify water to meet permit and operational requirements. The Operator troubleshoots and diagnoses operational problems and takes corrective action per procedure and process knowledge. S/he monitors flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures and related controls through instrument panels and programmable logic control units in assigned area. Monitors and records operating conditions observations and data in area shift log. Ensures conformance to process specifications. Verifies and reports suspected malfunctions and variances to a supervisor. Performs routine and preventative maintenance and maintenance related items as assigned. Performs field laboratory tests (chemical and physical) in order to pace chemical dosages for efficient process control. Ensures that all safety and environmental requirements are consistently achieved including strict compliance.

Requirements

• Class C FDEP Water License and a C Waste Water Operator's License to be considered for this position.
