Job summary

Newport Hospitality Group, Inc. maintains two hotel properties and seeks a proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure excellent physical condition and guest experiences. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, plus routine pool/spa upkeep and safety adherence.

Utilize Quore software to log repairs, participate in preventive maintenance, and support groundskeeping. A 24/7 operation requires flexible scheduling and a strong teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance (hospitality experience preferred).
• Proficiency in basic repairs.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, stand/walk entire shift, and perform strenuous tasks.
• Flexibility in scheduling (24/7 operation).

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC).
• Conduct routine pool/spa maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Utilize Quore software for logging repairs and communication.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards (lock out/tag out, pci, fire, osha).
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal tasks.
• Provide excellent guest service and contribute to a positive team environment.
