Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dual Endoscopy Technician and Nursing Assistant to support endoscopy procedures and patient care. Shift coverage includes four 10‑hour days, with weeknight, holiday, and weekend call as required.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with EGD, Colonoscopy, Biopsies, and related procedures, reprocess scopes, monitor patients, and maintain infection control in the Endoscopy suite.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration: None Required
• Experience: None required

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients as delegated by the RN and completes all aspects of care.
• Properly reprocesses endoscopes according to infection control guidelines.
• Assures endoscope equipment is in working order and reports issues.
• Performs basic nursing assistant duties including vital signs and patient transport.
