Job summary

US Heart & Vascular in Katy, TX is seeking a Full Time Dual Sonographer to join Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates. You will perform routine 2D/Doppler echocardiograms and vascular studies, with responsibilities for accurate billing input and reporting for physicians.

The role requires credentialing in Echocardiology and Vascular Technology, plus current BLS; one year of experience preferred. Travel to multiple MKCA locations may be involved; Monday–Friday, day shift, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
• Credentialed in Echocardiology (RDCS or RCS) and Vascular Technology (RVT or RVS), Current BLS Certification.
• This position is not suitable for a new graduate.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine 2D/Doppler echocardiograms and vascular exams (carotid, arterial, venous for DVT and venous for Reflux).
• Input correct billing codes and prepare preliminary echocardiogram and vascular reports with measurements for physicians.
• Explain tests to patients and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance; contact Support for major malfunctions.
• Use Studycast and related workflow software for image storage and reporting.
• Adhere to QA program and accreditation processes; maintain CME/CPR/registries.
