Job summary

US Heart and Vascular seeks a full-time Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our Southeast Houston team. The role involves performing 2-D Echo, stress echocardiography and vascular Doppler studies, and delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will hold an Associate's Degree, ARDMS or CCI credentials, and a current BLS certification, with a preference for those with vascular testing experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with no weekends or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Sonography or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D Echo, stress echocardiography and Doppler studies.
• Performs vascular testing including carotid Doppler, arterial and venous Doppler.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent.
• Ensures licensure/certification remain active.
• Provides excellent patient care and protects PHI under HIPAA.
• Actively demonstrates teamwork and adheres to safety standards.

Cardiovascular Sonographer | US Heart and Vascular | Orion Medical

Orion Medical is in search of a Full Time Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team in southeast Houston.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs 2-D Echo, stress echocardiography and Doppler studies.
• Perform vascular testing (preferred) including carotid doppler, upper and lower extremities arterial doppler, upper and lower extremities venous doppler, venous Insufficiency ultrasound, abdominal aortic aneurysm screening ultrasound, ABIs.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
• Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
• Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
• At all times protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations; including does not review his/her own record, or records of employees or co-workers without a "need to know".
• Actively demonstrates teamwork.
• Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
• Always adheres to company safety standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
