Job summary

Lamar State College-Orange is seeking a Dual Credit Resource Specialist to support students dually enrolled in high school and college. The role focuses on the Gator Book Pack program and FAST, grade checks, and Gator Passes for dual credit students.

The position reports to the Director of Dual Credit Services and requires coordinating with ISD staff, handling sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with state policies. Preference for those with strong teamwork and data management skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of dual enrollment and early college high school programs.
• Budget planning in an educational environment.
• Knowledge of THECB rules and related state/federal regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; handle confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Gator Book Pack program with faculty, staff, and students.
• Assist enrollment and degree audits for dual credit.
• Facilitate dual enrollment applications and registrations per policies.
• Maintain records for state and federal reporting.
• Coordinate admission documentation with ISD staff and determine eligibility.
• Assist with dual credit course scheduling.
• Prepare professional development for ISD faculty and staff.
• Coordinate monthly grade reports and class rosters for ISD partners.
• Advise Home School Dual Credit population with leadership.
