Job summary

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD’s Collegiate Academy in San Juan, Texas, seeks a Teacher – Electrical for PSJA Academies to lead dual credit opportunities. You will deliver college-level electrical coursework to high school students, supporting their development toward industry credentials while coordinating with the principal and Career and Technical Education staff.

The role requires at least an associate degree in Electrical, a Texas CTE certificate, and experience teaching electrical programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate’s degree in Electrical
• Valid Texas career and technical education certificate with required license, endorsements, and training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the career and technical education subject area assigned

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum requirements.
• Plan and deliver instructional activities for Electrical Programs with safety emphasis.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Supervise student field experiences in the electrical trades.
• Collaborate with campus staff to meet program goals.
