Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to work full-time in the medical department at the Garrett County Detention Center in Oakland, MD.

The CMT will provide comprehensive nursing care under RN supervision and must hold CNA/CMA credentials in addition to CMT certification. Available shifts include Full-Time Swing Shifts (7 am–3:30 pm or 3 pm–11:30 pm) with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• CMT certification completed.
• Dual CNA/CMA certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily medication passes.
• Maintain medication records and related documentation.
• Initial intake screening of new patients.
• Take vital signs and complete intake forms.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and facility spaces.
• Follow universal precautions and maintain confidentiality.
