Siemens Healthineers in the United States seeks a dual MR/CT Technologist to perform cardiovascular MRI and CT studies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The role collaborates with the Cardiovascular team and site radiologists, covering a broad age range and maintaining safety standards.

The candidate will have ARRT MR/CT, 2+ years of MRI/CT experience, and familiarity with Siemens MR systems.

Qualifications

• ARRT dual certification in MR and CT or registry eligible in the other modality.
• Cardiac imaging experience preferred but training available.
• Minimum 2 years MRI and/or CT clinical experience.
• AMA-sponsored program BS/BA or higher or equivalent education/experience.
• Siemens MR system experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs MRI and CT diagnostic imaging procedures per department protocols.
• Examines patients from pediatrics to geriatrics for diagnostic purposes.
• Support new software and evaluate protocols to improve image quality.
• Locate and record internal elements; identify anomalies indicative of disease.
• Provide excellent patient care during MR and/or CT procedures.
• Monitor patients for potential adverse changes during imaging.
• Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy; review with physicians.
• Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
• Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
• Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation; maintain charts and billing codes.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and QA guidelines; report malfunctions.
