Job summary

Samba Recovery in Peachtree Corners, GA, seeks a Dual Certified PMHNP to join our outpatient team. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care with therapists and case managers.

This contracted role offers up to 35 hours weekly with some evenings. Georgia licensure, DEA authorization, and 3+ years of outpatient experience are preferred to deliver trauma-informed, culturally competent, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• MSN with PMHNP certification
• Active Georgia PMHNP license
• DEA license to prescribe psych meds
• 3+ years clinical experience in outpatient settings
• Experience in outpatient mental health and/or substance use settings
• Trauma-informed, culturally competent care
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Diagnose mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and the treatment team.
• Provide psychoeducation and medication guidance to clients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system (KIPU).
• Order and interpret laboratory tests as appropriate.
• Participate in case consultations and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
