Job summary

Wellstar Cobb – Cardiovascular Medicine in Austell, Georgia is seeking a Cardiac Vascular Sonographer. The role performs all cardiac and vascular imaging across adult/pediatric populations, with on‑call duties as needed. It reports to the Manager or Lead Sonographer and requires flexibility for day shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include exam performance, image review, documentation, and collaboration with physicians while adhering to safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to function independently and under pressure while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations including contrast and bubble studies as required.
• Review images for clinical acceptability and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
• Assist with procedures, load/inject contrast, and maintain sterile technique.
• Complete PACS uploads, documentation, and charging records promptly.
