MedStar Health, the largest healthcare system and employer in DC/Maryland, offers a rewarding career opportunity at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center, an AHA Level 1 CICU with a 54-bed Medical and Surgical Cardiovascular ICU. Join our team of 6 dual-trained Critical Care Cardiologists!

Position Overview: We are seeking a dual-boarded Critical Care Cardiologist to manage Medical and Surgical CICU patients. The role involves collaborating with physician-led teams including Cardiology fellows, residents, interns, and critical care-trained APPs. Standard full-time shift expectations are 15 weeks per year, with flexible scheduling based on clinical preferences for Medical CICU, Surgical CICU, and Cardiology.

During non-clinical weeks, providers are encouraged to participate in departmental activities. MedStar Health offers opportunities in research and leadership development.
