Job summary

Eurofins EAG Laboratories in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Materials Analyst for the Dual Beam FIB-SEM group. You will prepare TEM lamellae, perform SEM imaging, and support advanced materials and semiconductor analysis.

The role emphasizes fast-paced lab work, precise sample prep, and high-quality results. Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in materials science or related field with hands-on FIB/SEM experience, and are comfortable working with ITAR-compliant projects and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Hands-on experience operating Dual Beam FIB-SEM systems or demonstrated capability to independently perform sample prep workflows.
• Working knowledge of SEM/TEM principles and microstructure characterization.
• Understanding of semiconductor device physics and failure analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality TEM lamella using Dual Beam FIB-SEM on advanced materials and semiconductors.
• Perform SEM imaging to support navigation, preparation, and quality verification.
• Manage multiple client samples, ensuring quality standards and timely turnaround.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflows and maintain consistent output.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to understand analysis requirements.
