Job summary

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in major markets. As Cluster Accounting Manager, you will lead day-to-day financial operations for a group of properties, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls aligned with our strategic goals.

You will oversee AP/AR and cash control, ensure GAAP and USALI compliance, and provide financial insight to hotel leaders.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of two years of hotel accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, and hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash control functions for multiple hotels.
• Ensure GAAP, USALI, and all applicable White Lodging policies and standards.
• Provide financial insight and counsel to hotel department heads, supporting data-driven decisions.
• Assist in developing and reviewing annual budgets and forecasts while identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency.
• Generate accurate, timely financial reports and share key insights with hotel leadership.
• Maintain a strong control environment to safeguard assets and mitigate business risks.
• Lead and mentor accounting team members, supporting their professional development.
• Monitor audit findings, implement corrective actions, and ensure system data accuracy.
• Stay current on tax compliance, licensing, permits, and vendor agreements.

What You’ll Bring

• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
