Job summary

WEG Transformers USA in Washington, MO is hiring for a Shipping/Receiving role within Distribution Transformers. Starting pay is $24.66 per hour with a $0.75 per hour shift premium. You will process receiving documents in SAP, perform inventory transactions, and prepare shipments to ensure timely material flow.

Qualifications

• Safety: complies with ethics/values and safety standards; drug panel including THC.
• Ability to interpret BOMs, drawings, schematics and specifications; perform basic math.
• Work authorization in the U.S. for employment.
• Shift flexibility for evening/night shifts; some overtime and weekends.
• Location within commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
• Proficiency in basic English communications.

Responsibilities

• Process receiving documents, pull lists, packing lists, and bills of lading in SAP and inventory records.
• Perform clerical and manual duties for receiving, storing, disbursing, and recording transactions.
• Enter data in SAP for PO numbers, departments, part numbers, and locations.
• Prepare or receive shipments; verify shipping documents and complete paperwork.
• Handle loading dock receiving and unload from trucks.
• Move material using pallet jack, forklift, hoist or narrow-aisle truck; deliver to departments.

Role: DT - Shipping/Receiving

In this role, you will:

• Work from receiving documents, pull lists, packing lists, freight bills, bills of lading, purchase order through SAP and other inventory records.
• Perform clerical and manual duties involving receiving, storing, disbursing and recording transactions on all inventory materials.
• Conduct computer entries and inquiries using SAP such as PO number, department to be supplied, part number, and locating parts.
• Prepare or receive shipments verifying necessary shipping documents. Complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform loading dock receiving and supply truck unloading.
• Obtain material from storage, move to holding areas, machines or lines using pallet jack, fork-truck, hoist or narrow-aisle truck.
• Receive requisitions and scheduling information, accumulate and deliver required material to departments.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Safety: Complies with WEG Code of Ethics & Values, 4th Edition , and understands the role is Safety Sensitive with a drug panel including THC.
• Quality: Can interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics and specifications and perform basic math.
• Work Authorization: Holds current work authorization for employment in the U.S.
• Shift Flexibility: Available for evening or night shifts, and limited overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Location: Resides within commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
• Communication: Demonstrates proficiency in basic English communications.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 3 years previous shipping/receiving, warehouse experience
• Successful completion of the National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) offered through the ACT WorkKeys program.
