We have an exciting opportunity with our Pratt & Whitney Digital Technology (DT) team as a DT Associate Infrastructure Site Lead.
The position will be based onsite at our facilities in East Hartford, Connecticut.
You will be part of our Site Infrastructure Services team. The main objective is to assist the Infrastructure Site lead and serve as a point of contact for infrastructure-related services. Will lead at a site level, from site specific to enterprise led initiatives and will require collaboration with local management, vendors, and other Digital Technology teams. Be responsible for all IT Infrastructure components at the site; including but not limited to desktops, servers, storage, WAN, LAN and wireless LAN. Work with and lead approved vendors to deliver world-class infrastructure services to all employees & contractors at the site. Deliver local infrastructure projects on time and on budget. Be a self-starter, able to work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ensure that site infrastructure complies with laws, industry best practices, Raytheon Technologies and Pratt & Whitney policies, and architectural standards. Fully document all work performed. Facilitate local audits and ensure corrective actions are completed on time. Work with business partners to design specific solutions that meet the needs of the local business. Act as an escalation point for any infrastructure issues. Provide in-depth root cause analysis when necessary.
Perform Other Duties And Special Projects As Required. The position requires strong teamwork, communication and technical project management. Collaboration with site management, outsourced IT partners, customers, security, compliance officials and other members of the DT organization is essential. A strong desire to continue to learn and remain on the forefront of relevant technologies is essential.
DT advocate / champion / coordinator for enterprise infrastructure initiatives/deployments (Zoom, O365, AD Rollouts, etc). Sponsor & oversight of local DT contractors. Up to 10% business travel possible.

This position is classified as Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
