Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:

• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.

Be committed to providing a consistent positive customer experience:

• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and staff, including clearing trash, cleaning the store, and organizing stockrooms.
• Receive inbound freight, prepare, and display merchandise according to DSW standards, and maintain stockroom organization.

Leverage in-store and digital services to bring shoes to life:

• Complete fulfillment functions, including locating items, inspecting, packaging, and labeling for pickup/delivery.
• Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.

Prioritize customer needs:

• Process transactions accurately, follow policies, and partner with leadership on escalated issues.

Bring energy and fun to your work:

• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training, be receptive to feedback, and support inclusivity.

Required Skills:

• Availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, proficiency with technology (register, iPhone, calculator).
• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
