This position involves providing friendly customer service both in-store and through omni-channel channels, assisting with sales, merchandise placement, and store maintenance. Store Associates act as brand ambassadors, ensuring a positive end-to-end customer experience and adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide personalized service.
  2. Promote and enroll customers in the DSW Loyalty program.
  3. Assist with product inquiries and transactions, both in-store and online.
  4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
  5. Receive and stock merchandise, complete markdowns, and organize stockroom.
  6. Fulfill online orders, ensuring accuracy and readiness for pickup or delivery.
  7. Process transactions accurately, handle cash, and operate the register.
  8. Participate in team meetings and ongoing training, supporting a collaborative environment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Availability to meet the business needs.
  • Customer-focused attitude with professional communication skills.
  • Comfortable using technology (registers, mobile devices).
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform store duties.
  • No prior retail experience required.

Compensation: Estimated pay range is $15.75 to $16.75 per hour, based on various factors including experience and location. Benefits are available and vary by location.
