Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:

• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.

Be committed to providing a positive customer experience:

• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and staff, including cleaning and organizing the store and stockroom.
• Receive inbound freight, prepare, and display merchandise according to DSW standards, complete markdowns, and organize stockroom.

Leverage in-store and digital services to enhance the customer experience:

• Complete fulfillment functions such as locating, inspecting, and packaging products for pickup or delivery.
• Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Prioritize customer needs and operational accuracy:

• Handle transactions accurately, operate registers, and follow policies for asset protection.
• Partner with leadership for escalated customer issues.

Bring energy and teamwork to your role:

• Participate in team meetings and training.
• Be receptive to coaching and feedback.
• Support an inclusive team environment.

Required Skills:

• Flexible availability to meet business needs.
• Professional, friendly, and customer service-oriented.
• Good communication skills, proficiency with store technology.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 100%, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks regularly.
