Job description

LOCATION : VaporTech o nsite in Longmont, Colorado

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role is responsible for the manufactur ing of VaporTech’s Diamond Seal Technology (DST) products . At a high level , this includes ; handling of DST raw material throughout cleaning , Physical Vapor D eposition (PVD) , and finished good s preparation — all while conforming to VaporTech safety and quality practices .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBIITIES:

Loading /unload ing component fixtures for DST pro duct cleaning , PVD process ing , a nd preparation for shipment of finished goods.

Perform initial receiving inspection of raw materials and final product inspection before customer shipment.

P erform media blasting of DST machine shielding .

OTHER:

Promote a culture of dedication to the safety of our employees, and commitment to meeting the customer’s quality expectations.

Engage in scheduled cycle counts pertaining to both raw material and finished goods within DST department and participate in any potential follow-up investigation regarding any findings .

Adherence to work instructions regarding the operation of our PVD systems, as well as assisting in identifying areas to improve efficiency and ongoing quality improvements.

Management of material flow between raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

Maintains a clean and safe work area .

All other duties as assigned.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

Efficient and on-time p roduction of VaporTech’s Diamond Seal Technology (DST) products , in a safe fashion, while meeting customer quality standards .

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software ( mainly Excel & Word ).

Experience working with vacuum thin film deposition processes and equipment a plus.

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Strong sense of time organization, prioritization , and works with a sense of urgency;

Self- disciplined , possesses the ability to initiate work with little to no prompting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 + years of relevant work experience in lean manufacturing environment preferred;

Must be authorized to work in the US.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be capable of lifting and m oving 50 lbs., to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch and walk throughout the day and to operate machinery and power tools.
