Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Team Lead in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This full-time role offers $18.75–$19.75 per hour with comprehensive paid training, including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration, and daily orientation.

You will supervise and support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, promote independence and safety, and coordinate care with the team. Prior experience is preferred but training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• COVID vaccine (Religious/Medical exemptions accepted).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Fewer than 6 points in last two years on motor vehicle record.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals to promote independence and safety.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily living.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe home.
• Provide personal care assistance.
