A leading company in community care services is looking for dedicated individuals to provide direct support and training to consumers in a community residence. The role includes monitoring consumer activities, implementing behavior management plans, and handling administrative tasks while ensuring safety and adherence to guidelines.
Provide direct care and training to consumers in community residence according to local, state, and federal guidelines. Implement training goals and collect data. Counsel consumers as necessary.
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting (with assistance), fingering, writing, reading, driving (including nights), counting, working double shifts as necessary, running, and smelling.
Very heavy lifting with assistance, visual acuity to read small print and record data. Must work in indoor and outdoor environments, possibly exposed to temperature extremes, noise, hazards including physical assault, property destruction, and infections. May need to wear protective clothing to prevent infection exposure.
