Behavioral Health Allies - Grow, Learn, Live

BHA is seeking energetic, passionate, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide care and support to our clients and their families. You will assist adolescents and young adults with severe behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities with daily activities, including transportation to appointments, medication administration, cooking, community activities, and promoting health, safety, and well-being.

  • 7am-7pm Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed
  • 7am-7pm Thurs/Fri/Sat
  • 7pm-7am Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed

  • 7pm-11pm Thurs/Fri/Sat
  • 7pm-11pm Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed
Hourly Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.00

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 6 months of experience serving persons with developmental disabilities
  • Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a behavioral health setting is preferred

* Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Services, Special Education, or related fields is welcome but not required.

* CNA experience is not required but appreciated.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in implementing individualized plans to achieve specific outcomes based on clients’ preferences, needs, and interests, including Behavioral Support Plans and Individualized Programming.
  2. Assist in crisis management and redirection.
  3. Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment.
  4. Support individuals in developing independence through activities of daily living, including toileting, hygiene, cleaning, cooking, medication management, and budgeting.
  5. Support community outings and visits.
  6. Maintain accurate records and data collection.
  7. Transport clients to community errands, visits, and medical appointments.
