Job summary

CADES in Pennsylvania seeks a Direct Support Professional to work with adults who have intellectual and/or physical disabilities. You will implement support plans and provide personal care under ISP guidelines.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience; strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness; CPR and crisis intervention training is required; you will operate in a residential/day program setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience with individuals with multiple disabilities.
• Experience in human services or related settings preferred.
• CPR and crisis intervention training to be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and guidance to individuals.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs.
• Transport and accompany individuals as needed.
• Administer medications per protocol and maintain logs.
• Complete agency forms and reports timely.
