Job summary

Avidd Community Services of New Jersey, Inc. is seeking caring and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings.

DSPs help individuals build independence, learn daily living skills, and lead meaningful lives. This part-time, per diem role offers early and late shifts to accommodate diverse schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must pass background checks, drug screening, physical/PPD, and training.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills (personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry).
• Support individuals during medical appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Complete documentation in Therap each shift.
• Provide First Aid/CPR when needed.
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence.

Pay: $17.50–$20.50 per hour.

Schedule: Part-time, Per Diem.

Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
