Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on, physically engaged support to individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges, ensuring safety and stability in a fast‑paced, high‑interaction environment.
  • Serve as a mentor and positive role model, building strong, consistent relationships that promote trust, accountability, and personal growth.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication support.
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans using approved intervention techniques, maintaining control of situations while prioritizing dignity and safety.
  • Respond confidently to escalated behaviors, including verbal aggression, resistance, or crisis situations, using trained de‑escalation and, when necessary, safe physical intervention methods.
  • Lead structured, active programming and recreational activities that channel energy in positive ways and support behavioral goals.
  • Accurately document behaviors, interventions, and client progress in compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
Required Skills
