DSP (Direct Support Professional)
Harry Meyering Center supports people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and community.

Then, we want to discuss the opportunities that await you at HMC!
Objective: Provide support to those with developmental disabilities in a person-centered way. Encourage independence and daily personal growth while assisting with cares and engaging in home and community activities.
Schedule: Work anywhere from 8 to 40 hours a week! This includes working at least every other Saturday and Sunday. Plus, fill-in and holidays. Shifts may include 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or other short shifts, including 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Wage: $16.50 (Part-Time)—$18.00 (Full-Time) per hour, with additional shift differentials in specific locations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Gain practical experience that applies to the fields of Nursing, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Education, Aging Studies, Cognitive Science, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Criminal Justice, Family Consumer Science, Health Communication, Management, Special Education, Law Enforcement, Pre-Pharmacy, Emergency Medical Services, and many others.
