Job summary

A non-profit organization in Maryland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support and assistance to participants in the Day Program. The ideal candidate will help develop personal skills while ensuring safety and well-being for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma and experience in human services is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are provided, and the role requires working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years of experience in human services preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and household routines.
• Provide input for Individual Plans (IP) as needed.
• Document individual progress and behavior daily.
