Job summary

The Ed Wallach Search Group seeks self-starters to join a multi-disciplinary R&D team in Denver, CO with satellite offices in Tucson, AZ; Melbourne, FL; and Chantilly, VA. You will develop software-based solutions for advanced communications systems in support of national security.

Under general supervision, you will conceive, analyze, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software, including algorithm development, hardware control, GUI design, and database development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or equivalent.
Demonstrated capability in scientific programming with C, C++, or similar on Unix/Linux.
Strong background in DSP or in communications theory.
Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in practical system development and deployment.
X-Midas or MATLAB experience.

Responsibilities

Conceive, analyze, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software-based solutions for modern communications systems.
Implementation includes algorithm development, hardware control, GUI design, and database development.
Position interacts directly with end users and customers.
