Job summary

CACI International is seeking a DSP Communications Engineer in Colorado Springs to design and implement RF signal processing and modems in software-defined radio environments for ground and space-based systems.

The role requires 5+ years in EE with DSP focus, proficiency in Python/Matlab and C/C++, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Up to 10% travel locally is possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of related work experience in electrical engineering with emphasis on communications systems and DSP.
• Experience with DSP for filter design, link-level simulation, and RF waveform design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of modulators, demodulators and synchronization algorithms for RF waveforms.
• Implement channel coding techniques including LDPC and turbo codes.
• Design RF signal processing capabilities and waveforms for monitoring, detection and estimation.
• Model algorithms in Python and/or Matlab and deploy in a C/C++ environment.
• Present research, models and results clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with software, firmware and hardware teams to deploy SDR platforms.
