Job summary

Central State Community Services Inc in Oklahoma City is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. No prior experience is required as paid training is provided to help you start a meaningful career in care.

You’ll perform daily living support, meal planning, medication administration under physician direction, and help with community activities, with shifts available full-time or part-time, including weekdays,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all state requirements.
• No prior experience required – training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with meal planning and preparation following nutritional guidelines or prescribed diets.
• Assist with medication administration under physician direction.
• Support individuals in community activities including volunteering and employment preparation.
• Offer transportation assistance for work, therapy, and recreation using agency or personal vehicles.
• Engage in activities such as games, reading, movies, concerts, and family visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and individual progress.
