Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oak Island, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

The role offers paid onboarding and training, flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable individual with a desire to help others.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record and healthcare checks.

Responsabilités

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
