Job summary

Abound Health in Bolivia, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You’ll assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Paid training and growth opportunities are available in a mission-driven organization with 20+ years in the I/DD space. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments for averaging 20+

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass criminal record and healthcare registry checks; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and tasks.
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
Encourage independence and help develop new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules; participate in ongoing training.
