Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support in Shelby, NC and surrounding areas. You will assist with ADLs, promote independence, and help clients live more autonomously. A $1,000 signing bonus is available and weekly pay is offered.

The role includes paid training, growth opportunities, and a team-oriented environment. Flexible schedules (full-time and part-time) and opportunities to participate in company events are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Lifting may be required.
• Experience with disabilities not required; paid training and support provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on DSP support to help individuals build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, chores).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety, maintain a supportive environment.
• Communicate with team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
