Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services in Brooklyn is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in supportive residential settings. Full time and part time positions are available for afternoon, evening and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, accompanying medical appointments, assisting with meals, and providing companionship to foster independence and community

Qualifications

• Motivated candidate with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to individuals promoting meaningful outcomes.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and write English.
• Valid NY or NJ driver's license for some positions.

Full time and part time positions available for afternoon, evening and overnight shifts. Substitute positions are also available.
