Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services in New York is seeking dedicated staff to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities living in residential settings across Brooklyn, Queens, Lower East Side, Far Rockaway and Long Island. Shifts available include Day, Evening and Overnight; substitute positions are also open.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, accompanying to medical appointments, helping prepare meals, and providing companionship

Qualifications

• Motivated candidate with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to individuals promoting meaningful outcomes.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Valid NY or NJ driver's license for some positions.

Salary: Day/ Afternoon/Evening Shift $18.30 per hour

Overnight Shift $18.05 per hour
