Job summary

BAIG, LLC is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Omaha team. This role provides personalized care to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve daily goals and greater independence.

You will implement ISPs, assist with ADLs, accompany clients to appointments and activities, and collaborate with families and supervisors to ensure compassionate, person-centered support. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license, background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately.
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and activities.
• Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed.
• Foster independence and community inclusion for individuals served.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members.
