Job summary

You will collaborate with the Ground Communications and Architecture Section, develop Buildroot-based solutions, maintain CI/CD pipelines, address cybersecurity compliance, and help ensure high-reliability operation across DSN labs and field sites.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS or related field with 5+ years for Level III, 9+ for Level IV.
• Strong C/C++ for embedded systems; modern build systems.
• Experience with Python, Bash, Java, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains DELOS embedded OS using Buildroot for DSN.
• Designs embedded software and lab/operational deployments.
• Integrates DELOS software packages and CI/CD workflows.
• Implements cybersecurity requirements in software.
• Supports DSN operations and flight project teams.
• Maintains production service availability and failover.
