Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support the DSN administrative network in Monrovia, CA and at Goldstone and JPL. You will ensure hardware and software configurations are documented, version-controlled, and compliant with DSN standards.

Responsibilities include baseline management, lifecycle management using the MIDAS workflow, change governance, and maintaining the CIMS data system.

Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD.
• Experience in an engineering environment supporting an engineering change function.
• Ability to obtain trusted background check and NCIC (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain hardware/software configuration baselines.
• Provide guidance on entry/exit criteria into the ECM process.
• Manage life cycle changes via MIDAS workflow for configuration items.
• Review and authorize releases via ECR/ECO processes.
• Maintain the CIMS database and relationships.
• Perform periodic audits for conformance.
• Prepare CCB agendas, minutes, and maintain doc site.
• Maintain ECM work instructions.
• Provide lien status metrics for PMR.
• Process DSN Task System Safety Checklists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
