Job summary

Soules Foods is seeking a DSI Maintenance Technician in Gainesville, GA. The role focuses on operating the DSI machine, maintaining production quality, and meeting downtime targets on a rotating schedule.

Required are 3+ years of maintenance in manufacturing, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and the ability to work overtime. Strong attendance and GMP adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school education.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and overtime as needed.
• GMP experience and preventive maintenance knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain DSI equipment used to cut and portion raw chicken products.
• Inspect conveyors, spray heads, and related equipment for cleanliness and operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Report malfunctions to Maintenance Lead and Supervisor.
• Follow GMP and safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Support production goals by minimizing equipment downtime.
