The Special Commitment Center (SCC), part of Washington State Department of Social & Health Services (DSHS) Behavioral Health Administration (BHHA), is seeking a Residential Program Director - High Acuity to join our team. Our High Acuity program is for residents who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
In this role you will be responsible for directing, managing, leading and supervising the milieu staff and services component of SCC's High Acuity program. You will also be responsible to assume all leadership activities in the management of the high acuity habilitative milieu concerning staffing and residential issues.
SCC employees receive an additional $10 per day premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and a free Orca card for transportation use.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Those with a Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Social Sciences, or in an allied field AND three years of professional experience in casework, counseling, probation and parole, social services, planning, directing and/or supervisory or managerial experience.

A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Social Sciences, or in an allied field AND three years of professional experience in casework, counseling, probation and parole, social services, planning, directing and/or supervisory or managerial experience AND five years of experience as a supervisor or manager.
