Job summary

The Fiscal Analyst 5 at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation's Finance Budget Unit leads a statewide fiscal team and serves as the senior technical expert guiding complex federal grant operations.

You will mentor staff, ensure accuracy and accountability, manage the agency's largest federal funding source, and drive improvements in financial processes while upholding regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 18 quarter or 12 semester credits in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.
• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Understanding of OFM, SAAM, and GAAP rules and regulations.
• Excellent working knowledge of AFRS, Enterprise Reporting, and AFRS Toolbox.
• Advanced Excel skills including complex spreadsheets, data imports, and pivot tables.
• Strong fiscal accountability, ethics, integrity, and ability to work within a motivated team.
