Overview

To ensure product being delivered by vendors is properly received, priced and accounted for.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the DSD vendor activities to assure proper and accurate receiving of product.
• Maintain a daily DSD receiving and discrepancy log.
• Update system files as needed.
• Ensure that a backup receiving clerk is always trained and available.
• Report discrepancies or pricing problems immediately to a supervisor and the Pricing Department at the Lowes Foods Corporate Office.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Handle all damaged merchandise according to Damage Reclaim procedures.
• Follow all security and shrink procedures.
• Perform as a stocker and cashier as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning operations.
• Ability to work well with computers.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

• Excellent math skills.
• Ability to push a pallet jack, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
