Job summary

Acme Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Machine Operator - Draw, Straighten, and Cut (DSC) to join our Denver, CO facility. This full-time, on-site role starts at $26 per hour, plus production bonuses. Benefits include health, dental, life, and 401(k).

Evening, 10-hour, 4-day schedule Monday–Thursday, 2:30pm–1:00am. The DSC operator loads, trims, and finalizes steel wire through drawing, straightening, and cutting processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Proficiency using gauges, tape measures, and other basic hand tools.
• Ability to safely and efficiently run the DSC line.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform in a physically demanding role.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours a day.
• Good attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading the machine, manually or with forklifts/overhead cranes.
• Troubleshooting stoppages, performing quality checks, maintaining a clean workspace.
• Verifying materials, matching work orders to raw materials, recording scrap, ensuring quality.
• Performing setup duties, die changeovers, and preventive maintenance.
• Adhering to all safety standards.
