Qualifications

• Proven experience as a drywaller or in a construction role.
• Proficient with drywall hand tools and mechanical applicators.
• Strong knowledge of joint compounds and surface prep.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Cut out and pre-fill damaged areas with hot mud to create a smooth surface.
• Mix joint compounds and tape joints using hand tools or mechanical applicators.
• Spot screws and apply compound materials for a smooth finish.
• Sand rough spots after the compound dries to prepare for painting or texturing.
• Apply flush coats, primers, or texture finishes and touch up nicks and pinholes.
• Maintain and stock materials on-site and ensure tools are kept in good condition.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards on all tasks.
