Spyglass Talent Solutions, on behalf of a Raleigh, NC Division 9 subcontractor, is seeking a Project Manager to own multiple drywall and Division 9 projects from planning through closeout. You will lead scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client communications to ensure safety, quality, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in construction, strong organizational skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, growing environment with opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Construction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and sequencing.
  • Excellent project management skills including scheduling and budgeting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership in managing field teams and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with project management and document-control tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage drywall, framing, acoustical ceiling, and Division 9 projects from award to completion.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, manpower plans, procurement logs, and execution strategies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for general contractors, subcontractors, architects, owners, and internal teams.
  • Ensure work complies with specs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee project documentation: contracts, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, progress reports.
  • Manage field teams and subcontractors to align on productivity, sequencing, and quality.
  • Identify issues or risks early and coordinate with teams to mitigate.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship.
  • Review costs and track production to meet profitability targets.
  • Lead project closeout, punch lists, O&M docs, and turnover deliverables.
  • Contribute to internal reviews and provide feedback to estimating on productivity and pricing.

As Our Client continues to scale its presence in the Raleigh, NC area, the company is seeking a Project Manager who can take ownership of multiple drywall and Division 9 projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, an organized and proactive leader, and someone who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment with significant career advancement potential.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of commercial drywall, framing, acoustical ceiling, and related Division 9 projects from project award through completion.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, procurement logs, and overall project execution strategies.

  • Serve as the primary point of communication for project stakeholders, including general contractors, subcontractors, architects, owners, and internal teams.

  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

  • Manage and supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring alignment on productivity, sequencing, and quality expectations.

  • Identify project issues, delays, or risks early; collaborate with the field and operations teams to develop and implement solutions.

  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor schedule adherence, safety, manpower, and workmanship.

  • Review costs, track production, and ensure project profitability targets are met.

  • Lead project closeout, including punch list completion, O&M documentation, and turnover deliverables.

  • Participate in internal project reviews and provide feedback to estimating on productivity, pricing, and lessons learned.


Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Construction

  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, sequencing, and best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage diverse project stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing field teams and subcontractors.

  • Proficiency with project management and document control software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize deadlines effectively.

  • Willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
