Common Links Construction LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Brookfield, WI to oversee commercial drywall projects from estimate to closeout. You will build client relationships, manage budgets, schedules, and safety targets while coordinating with field teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and ongoing learning. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in PM/estimating within commercial construction, strong reading of blueprints, and a collaborative, self-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project management and/or estimating.
• Experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or business preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Collaborative, proactive with urgency and self-starter mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

Your Role

This position for Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of commercial drywall projects from initial estimate to closeout, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. As a Project Manager you will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.

What You Will Do

• Prepare product and labor estimates for customers
• Manage construction process and completion of assigned projects on schedule
• Track and manage all changes that are made during the build process
• Maintains overall responsibility for success in meeting established safety, quality, schedule and budget targets for assigned project
• Communicate with the field foreman/team to ensure a safe and productive project
• Attend all necessary job site meetings
• Have a strong desire to win and hate to lose
• Constant desire and need to learn new tasksHave a determined and goal-oriented work ethic

What You Bring to Us

• At least 2 years of project management and/or estimating experience.
• Preferred experience and knowledge in the commercial construction industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Business preferred, but not required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• General knowledge of commercial construction.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and spec drawings.
• Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying seniority and teams both inside and outside the organization
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency
• Demonstrates a positive "can do" demeanor, takes pride in achieving results and has a self-starter mindset
• Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
