Skillforce is hiring for Drywall Hanger & Finisher—Level 3 for a long-term construction project at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. Candidates must have strong drywall hanging and finishing experience and solid commercial carpentry skills.

The role offers hourly pay of $28.00–$32.00, paid weekly, and long-term opportunity on a federal base project. Prior base access and PPE are required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial drywall hanging and finishing.
• Strong commercial carpentry skills are required.
• Ability to read measurements and construction drawings.
• Experience with metal framing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and hang drywall.
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces.
• Operate automatic taping tools (boxes and bazookas).
• Finish Level 3–5 drywall.
• Read measurements, layouts, and drawings.
• Perform general commercial carpentry tasks as needed.
• Follow all jobsite and base safety requirements.

Drywall Hanger & Finisher Pay and Benefits

• $28.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience

Drywall Hanger & Finisher Job Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and hang drywall
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces
• Hands-on experience operating automatic taping tools, including boxes and bazookas.
• Level 3- Level 5 Drywall Finishing
• Read measurements, layouts, and construction drawings
• Perform general commercial carpentry tasks as needed
• Follow all jobsite and military-base safety requirements

Drywall Hanger & Finisher Requirements

• Proven commercial metal framing experience
• Strong drywall hanging and finishing skills
• Well-rounded commercial carpentry experience
• Must provide all necessary metal framing and drywall tools
• Must have personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide valid employment documentation
• Must have a clean background and meet all requirements for access to Tinker Air Force Base
